In 1988 I produced the album "Ascend from the Cauldron", by Deadly Blessing. These pics are from the recording at the Warehouse in Philly PA with Engineer Obie O'Brien. I was a big fan of these kids and had even found an investor for them to cut some tracks. I distinctly remember plotting with the guitarists father, to sneak out the unfinished rough mixes that helped them land their deal with New Renaissance records. (LOL... ahhh, the music biz) Unfortunately these guys never received the fame they were due back in the day, but I'm proud to say that this album is now looked at as one of the best underground metal albums of that time and DB has the big place in Metal History they deserve.
